I read this book 1st and then bought the Audible version. Sarah Puckett did an outstanding job of being both lead characters. I had no trouble remembering who was the 1st person for each chapter. And that Texas drawl was perfect.
I’m a fan of C.A. Harms and this book was right in line with her amazing stories. One of my favorite parts is the way Madelyn and Lucas were with each other even after they were together. Madelyn didn’t turn into some docile sweet woman. She was still sassy and wasn’t afraid to put her foot down. Lucas loved her through it all.
