Light on story, heavy on character building.

Clever concept, likable protagonist, can be difficult to stay engaged as the story endlessly recycles various ways to earn skill points instead of being plot driven in any way. The light hearted humor is pleasant. Narrator is talented but the frequent exclamation leads me to wonder if the author simply used an ‘!’ at the end of 80% of sentences. Definitely a long listen. If you enjoy focused character building RPG style, this book will satisfy.
