I couldn’t finish this book. It’s very graphic about an almost 30 yr old grown man (the only person this child grown to trust) buying an engagement ring for a 12-13 yr old girl and then proceeding to have adult relations with her. If this were real life, he’d be in prison and on a registered sex offender list. Romanticizing this kind of thing is beyond disgusting.
