I felt the last two books of the series were a little slow and just not as good as what had come before. The battles took away watching the main characters, which is what really made the series shine.

I feel this book really fixed that and brought it back to its core. This really focused on boxy and his minions, and as they cleared a dungeon, there are really no distractions from them while still giving plenty of action.

This can’t compare with the amazingness of book 1-3, but it is still great, and I honestly feel was a turning point in the right direction for the series. I can’t wait for the next one.
