I saw ads for this on Facebook claiming it was like Firefly. I was afraid it was going to be a derivative, coat-tail-riding, substandard work.
Fortunately, I also saw that the omnibus was one credit on Audible, so I got to find out how wrong I was. This wouldn’t have existed without Firefly, true. But it is not a cash-grab. It’s a love letter to the original series and a wonderfully fun story in its own right.
