The only thing wrong with this book was the excessive music they used. there were times when nothing was going on and they used music effects like they were trying to do old radio broadcasts. Not needed. the one effect that was a Great enhancement was the slight reverb used to denote different planes of existance. The best part of the book for me was the on point writing. The emotionally punchy moments the Author nailed beautifully making you the reader rejoice, happy, sad, hate, etc. There was a large transition period to get used to the writing technique because its almost super basic and was a bit enfuriating to listen to at first. The narration from 4 ppl was ok. narration from four ppl is not as impressive as narration from on. However the lady who did the fairy aaron’s voice was ABSOLUTELY on point and was THE narration highlight of the book. i give this book 5 stars because with the 3 things i listed the pros greatly outweigh the cons as i listened to this book in under 16 hrs and will be purchasing the rest of the trilogy after this.
