I came into this book without a high expectation. It had an interesting premise so I figured I’d give it a go…. Holy crap. So well done! It has an amazing plot, character development, humor, excitement, everything that you could want in a book. The battles, magic, and adorable wolf-girl (give it a listen and you’ll understand her adorableness) are all icing on the cake.
Jeff Hays is a wonderful narrator, he gives each character a distinct inflection and personality, and he really helps make an already wonderful book truly exceptional. It’s a fun listen, give it a go, you won’t be disappointed.
