As Molly and her students discover, a family does not have to be the one you are born into. It can be the one that you develop during hardships because you all care deeply about one another. As the Apocalypse continues to play out in their hometown, Molly and some of her students are discovering that the family they were born into is not necessarily the one that cares for them the most. Their teacher, bus driver, and fellow students are more a family and care about them more. Their trials and tribulations are sometimes fairly harsh. This book can be read as a stand alone however is better following Book one of the series. Looking forward to Book 3.
