This is a professor/student, forbidden romance that touches on many subjects such as depression. This one will keep your interest from start to finish and it has all the feels. I absolutely loved Alec, however through most of the book I was iffy about Sheilagh, she was a little too annoying for my tastes. But in the end they both won me over as a couple. All in all a good read.
As for the narration, Lucinda Gainey did a wonderful job bringing these characters to life.
