The writing was quite sophomoric. I sometimes thought this was written for teens. The religion was shoved down your throat. I didn’t realize it was so religious. It was meant to be pro religion but it actually was anti religious because their lives and happiness would have been much better if they hadn’t been such strong beliefs. I don’t think the author had that in mind. Then they throw in pro life stuff.
It was still entertaining and there was some clever writing when you heard one part and then they went back and retold parts in a different perspective with important details that were not told in the story but were revealed when others were telling “their” story.
