I wanted a collection more on the somber side, and I was finding that lots of horror collaborations try to leave some levity, by using camp, or another gimmick.
The stories in this book might not be super brutal, but they’re presented in a serious enough way that it feels authentic.
I just finished it, and I might just start it over, for a second listen.
