I can’t even finish this and it’s a short read. I couldn’t even get to the aliens before I quit.
The story is supposed to be about a branch of the military. I get it, Space Force is a joke but if you’re going to write about the military at least make it believable. None of the characters act anything like they are real people much less spacers. By the time I got to the gossip reporters I was done. “Sure their are aliens attacking but what America wants to know is; when was the last time you got laid.”
Humor is a great thing for novels, but bad writing is not. Hard pass, not going to finish. If it was a paperback it would be out for the garage sale.
