This book (and the title) come from the strength of the mother of a murdered girl. well you have the standard looking into the background of the killer and definitely the effect on the overall family, especially her husband, the focus of the book remains on the strength and resilience of the mother. I kind of liked it as a welcome change of pace from your typical true crime. It’s very well done. One thing that drove me crazy though is that there does not seem to be a photo of the murderer anywhere on the internet. That’s so odd. And he’s so peculiar (a bodybuilding freak) That a photo would be awesome. I guess we’ll just have to be content with the picture that Jack Olsen paints in our minds for us.
