In this story we have Nikki, who was a captive of the bad mages and Gunter, a dragon who gets lost in books.
Nikki has issues with being locked up, like Tory (from a previous story) and Gunter who is clueless with how to express anything. They both finally actually communicate and admit that they are mates and no one is leaving anyone.
The overarching storyline is wrapped up in here, but I really wish that this world would continue. I mean, we really need to really get to know the I’ve dragons next.
At the end, the babies do return to the castle and everyone gets their HEA.
Joel Leslie was perfect here and I really enjoyed his performance.
