Enjoyed the Story

I really enjoyed the story, the setting, and most of the characters. I enjoyed the things people would say about witches and the thoughts that would go through Cen’s mind. I really hated the mayour, but with that he was well written. There were lots of twists and turns throughout the novel. I have mixed review on Aunt Pearl and the ghost. I just could not connect with them. I also figured out the mystery pretty quickly on this one.

Overall, I found the story moved but there were parts I had a difficult time with. Mostly because they heavy involved Aunt Pearl or the Ghost.

I enjoyed Petrea Burchard, however, I would have liked a little more distinction in some of the voices and I feel she could have been a little more animated in parts. Overall a nice job though.
