This installment takes Cen, her mom and her crazy Aunt Pearl to Las Vegas. Oh my goodness! Aunt Pearl is a riot! Her over-the-top antics are hilarious and, this time, a bit on the dangerous side. In this book I will say that Cen gets on my nerves a bit about not doing magic. She’s cheating and wants to be “normal”. Well, you’ll have to listen to find out how it all turns out. The great thing about this series is that you don’t have to read the books in order to enjoy them but it does help to add to the next one if they are listened to in order. The narration was wonderful. Petrea Burchard does a great job with the many voices and emotions from beginning to end. She really brings the story to life and helps to immerse the listener into this fun and cozy world. Highly entertaining and if you enjoy cozy mysteries then you should check out this series.
