I love that Kat is supposed to be on a mini vacation in this book. Her job is to support Jace this time. But if you are a fan of this series like me, you know she looks for things to keep her busy and can get herself in to quite a bit of trouble. Kat is immediately suspicious of the man Jace is working for after he has some things added in to Jace’s contract. Then Kat is almost killed on a morning hike and everyone is playing it down about the couple that did get killed in the same accident. Their is no way she’s letting it go now. Another great story! And Petrea Burchard does a fantastic job bringing this book to life.
