Greenwash: A Katerina Carter Fraud Thriller by Colleen Cross was great! From the beginning, the story sucks you in and keeps you listening. Ms. Cross created a fun, suspenseful, well crafted story that I listened to in two sittings. While this is Book 4 of a series, it can easily be read as a standalone. I don’t think listening to it as a standalone detracted from the story or overall listen at all. This is the story of Katerina and Jace, and the murder and mystery that surrounds them when they travel to a remote snowy location where Jace is supposed to write the biography of a sketchy environmental billionaire. Nothing is as it seems and things soon start to go wrong…I’d definitely recommend this book to listeners!
Petrea Burchard did an excellent job narrating this story. It was my first time listening to any of her performances, but I’ll definitely look for more listens narrated by her. She handled both the male and female voices well and really brought life to the characters.
