The lead character was written to be just utterly pathetic. As a woman she was completely disappointing letting everyone control and walk all over her.
The plot was useless. I suffered through it to get my credits worth.
The narrator I was disappointed in too. I’m planning on avoiding the author and narrator. I hope this helps for someone looking for a series. I usually love that so I can fall in love with the characters but I plan on deleting this experience from my mind.
