I will start off by saying that I respect anyone who actually manages to write a book but I still have to give my honest opinion when writing a review.

The story itself is actually fine. I like most of the characters and the others I don’t hate they just haven’t had a chance to become interesting yet.

The family of 5 (6 if you count the Turkey which we apparently do) are accidentally transfered instead of some loner who wouldn’t be missed. In the process the family is screwed over multiple times and end up being split from each other instead of arriving together on this new world. They all have the same starter quest to meet up in the nearby city. This means the story that already seems pretty short is not split into 5 perspectives. They are all challenged to a certain degree and has to survive but the constant shift between the family members and the length of the story makes it feel like half or even a quarter of a real book. It is simply too short and almost nothing happens because of it. If the family had arrived together it might have alleviated this but even then it still seems pretty short.
