Everyone is too smart.

The story is engaging but there are NUMEROUS examples of redundant descriptions that can make listening monotonous. Unless a character is going to have a dramatically different understanding of events, rereading a description of an event or scene is boring.

And given everyone seems to be the same level of genius and innately understands each other’s actions at just the right moment – people either understand each other, are written obviously ignorant of a detail that will be revealed later, or are able to glean understanding immediately upon an event happening.
