Thoroughly entertaining! It’s such a dark book, it almost feels bad to be giggling all the way through it. Through the series I’ve had a number of incidents with my kids wondering what on earth I’m suddenly laughing at, and then giving me the hard eye roll that it’s my audible book! But the basic concept is much darker than the Hunger games. Death, death, and more death. Society using death as entertainment. Lots of completely appropriate f-bombs. f-bombs are not normally a draw for me but it works here.
The author has done an amazing job. The performance is awesome.
