NR Walker’s depiction of an Aussie outback farmer finding love with a Texan rancher is toe-curlingly gorgeous. Both men are vulnerable, yet strong. The characterization is flawless.
Which character – as performed by Joel Leslie – was your favorite?
Joel Leslie’s depiction of Charlie is heart-wrenching and powerful. He also nails Travis and gives both men very distinct voices.

Holy moses, Joel Leslie’s performance just about kills me! The emotion, the heartache, the sex scenes–what a performance! An already amazing book turned into an outstanding experience. And Red Dirt Heart 3 audiobook is waiting on my Audible account, so another nearly 9 hours of top notch entertainment!
