I really wonder if this series would have been as entertaining without the fabulous narrative talent of Phil Thron? He really does bring Bobby Adair’s post-apocalyptic adventure to life. Stinky Pete’s voice character is my favorite in this one!
Also, I actually teared up when Murphy told Zed that Sargeant Delhoover was dead, and then Stephanie died. I highly recommend the Slow Burn series and this sequel, Firestorm.
