Turned out alright. I was so impressed with Jeff in DCC that I was willing to check this series out.
For a first installment it was very good. left a bit to be desired in character development but nothing to get upset about (besides adult content if that bothers you, nothing gratuitous though). The characters make sense. It’s a fast paced romp.
I gave it five stars because for its genre, it’s doing a very good job.
If the next books improve on what’s been built here, this could be a lot of fun.
This book wasn’t stat heavy. Also a good thing.
