I have read with my eyes this story in ebook form twice and listened to the audio twice as well because sometimes I need something that just makes me laugh and feel good.
Yes this story has massive plot holes and some of what happens is not as romantic as I would have liked, but it still is funny as heck and I recommend it to everyone.
Here we have Sam, who was a human in his late thirties, seeking a career change. He gets hired by the CSG and that day hooks up with a guy he didn’t know was a demon and also worked at CSG. Then we have a 5 year jump and Sam is asked to work with the Lucifer. Things happen and Sam is confused by Gideon’s seemingly attitude change and then they are together and in love.
I truly wish the romance in this series was more but I have accepted that it is what it is.
Joel Leslie had me rolling with laughter and was just awesome.
