Can’t believe this hasn’t been commented about. The MC gets a pet half way through the book and there are several instances where he brutally beats it while it cries and asks the MC to stop. The MC seems to have little care or forgiveness for the pet calling it stupid and just wanting it to do what he wants it to do and is always willing to be violent toward it.
The multiple scenes almost made me stop. I will probably stop here in the series.
