It started off well and then veered pretty hard into grand conspiracy territory where it lost me.
If you hate FEMA and are terrified of the potential of the dreaded FEMA camp, this book was probably written just for you. Conservative religious tropes are all over the place towards the end.
I stuck it out to figure out what the “offal” room was but had to give it up with about 4 hours left because the tropes and the grand conspiracy were getting in the way of the story and I was kinda starting to hope the worst would happen to everyone given how silly it all got.
