Love the series, but this one fell a bit short

I love the series and was excited about the newest release.

Overall I liked the story line, but a few things bugged me about this book.

Primarily, it was the change in some characters, particularly Randy. It seemed she had a level of disgust for Jim that did not track with the previous books. This was kind of a theme for many of the other characters, a general lack of respect for Jim, as if they forgot all he had done to help his group survive.

Other than that, loved the interplay of new characters that added to the plot lines.

If you are a fan of the series, it’s kind of a must to listen to this one. Not sure if it will be the last in the series, but would be a fitting end if so.
