The MC is rash and too childish. The pacing feels off especially with the dialog. I’m not sure if that is on the writer or the narrator. The narrator has a way of making the MC feel way too excitable for my taste. Also, the combination of naiveté and hypocrisy that the MC regularly displays is really annoying.
Not a bad story, maybe reading will provide a better experience than listening?
