This story shows S.E. Smith’s growth as a writer. Good character development, the story universe continues to grow. Intriguing story with several storyline climax points which was fun – get over one hurdle to find another. Thankfully this story reduced the sex chapters (which I skip). This story completes in this book with tantalizing leads that could be developed into future stories but no cliff-hangers. Its always nice to see prior story characters and get an update on what’s happened after their story ends.
Recording has an issue in chapter 40 where the publisher did a very poor editing job. Hope – if they fix it – I’ll get an updated copy.
