I was looking for a light read that would keep my interest and this was definitely it. Halfway through I used another credit to get Book II.
The personalities of the characters really shine early on and are easy to relate to. The descriptions for the characters and their surroundings are spot on and the narrator does a great job bringing them to life.
For the life of me I can’t get it out of my head that Carl sounds like Sherrif Bronson Stone from the Scooby Doo series, but it doesn’t take away from the book in any way.
