I didn’t expect much going in, as I had never heard of this novel before. Wow, was I pleasantly surprised! I love the characters and the world, and I look forward to seeing the world developed further. The epiphany at the climax was wonderful. The character arcs were deep and somewhat complex.
I wasn’t crazy about the narrator, as the strength of his accent was distracting. I know the Prince is supposed to be smarmy, but I found it quite off putting.
That does not stop me from *wishing* that the rest of the novels will be on Audible! What do you want in return 😉
