Really wish they would have excluded the Steven Avery & Brendan Dassey story from the collection. If you know anything about this case, you know that at the LEAST, there is doubt on Steven Avery’s and Brendan Dassey’s convictions, and at the most, a full police setup. I watch and listen to A LOT of true crime, but nothing has broken my heart more than watching Brendan Dassey’s “confession”. A coerced confession of a juvenile with a low IQ. After they laid everything out for him, and made him confess to all sorts of brutal things, he asks if he can go back to school to turn his project in that was due that day. He thought he was going back to school. Makes me sick to my stomach what they did to that boy. Other than that, I enjoyed this audio book.
