I saw this book advertised and downloaded it simply because I share a name with the main character. I fully expected the book to be dumb…. and it is. But it is also absolutely hysterical! The brand of humor is perfect for me and the narration is some of the best I have ever heard in an audio book. You WILL become a fan of Jeff Hays after listening to this.
And while the humor is dumb.. the jokes are expertly set up. There were times I thought to myself “That was so dumb… but damn if it wasn’t clever as Hell!” as I laughed out loud.
Do yourself a favor and download this book. Sit back, relax, and lean into the humor. You will not be disappointed… until you get to the end of the series so far. I am about to download Book IV now… and dreading running out of content once I listen to Book 5!
I hope Matt Dinniman puts out more of these… and quickly!
