It has been a long time since I have read (listened) to a Shifter story. This very short story was okay. I would have enjoyed it much more if it was fleshed out a bit more and didn’t end so abruptly. I was left wondering if the brothers tried anything more and Elizabeth’s reaction to the differences in the pregnancy.
