What??? “All the Ugly and Wonderful Things just shot a bullseye to my heart. This was one controversial listen and I thoroughly enjoyed this story with all its nuances. The story is well-written and progression from one chapter to the other was not what I anticipated. I had a hard time wrapping around the idea of an eight year old’s friendship with a very much older man. This is where the controversy set it for me but…as mentioned this was one well written story that had my attention from beginning to end. Recommend the audiobook but please note that this may not be a read for everyone due to the content but what a story!
I enjoyed this one and thought the narration by Jorjeana Marie was very well done. Never read anything by Bryn Greenwood as an author but she has now created a dent on my watchlist to reading more by this author.
