It feels like most of this genre end up this way, but Im really growing tired of the never ending feuds. Like stronger people always try to bully to weaker, but our OP MC can punch above his weight class, but when he does everyone gets mad. Now our MC is hated by all the strong people and is constantly harried by more powerful enemies all because of ego or something. Some of these people are thousands of years old with the pettiness of a 14 year old cheerleader. I get that there kinda has to be people like that in this genre, but in Cradle this is literally everyone that isn’t a part of the empire. And even some in the empire feel this way against MC. I am still enjoying the series, but MCs new arc is ALWAYS him fighting someone stronger, winning, and then the stronger party send more strong people because they’re embarrassed. It’s a bit much, but still a great series. I hope Will has better Arcs for us in the future.
