What would have made Watching Over Her better?
The author didn’t make the story believable.

No one thinks its possible a father will ask a man to watch over his barely legal daughter, but in fiction , everything is possible.

I was waiting for instant love/lust, alpha male romance, but the heroine was too immature at times. I couldn’t see her with the hero. They were too different. Olivia is still a teenager and a broken heart is natural at that age.

A broken heart doesn’t make a father choose a male companion for his daughter.

Olivia and Evan didnt work “in real life”. The authors writing didn’t convince me the connection between them was real.
