- What did you love best about Man of War?
- Is it a “Gerat work”? No. Is it entertaining? Very. The plot is not what you would call cohesive and nothing is particularly surprising or suspenseful. But, who cares?
It is one of those books where you don’t think too much about it and just enjoy the story.
Like Die Hard. It makes no sense, but it’s still entertaining and work watching.I would put this in the same bucket as “Hard luck Hank”. Maybe not quite as funny as Hank, but close.
- What about Jeff Hays’s performance did you like?
- The performance makes the book.
Very good narration. I will probably try to find other books narrated by this bloke. - Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
- I listened the book in one day. Luckily I didn’t need to use my brain at work that day.
- Any additional comments?
- Go ahead a blow a credit on this one. If you are one of those who sit in traffic with an audio-book, this makes sitting there, if not enjoyable, at least bearable.
