I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
This one really missed the mark for me. I thought the main character, Clara, was really annoying. She whines constantly and shows such a completely liberal slant, it made for an obnoxious experience. Sadly, the narrator was really good on this book. Which is saying something since there was a marked lack of details on what/why/how of this EMP beyond the main character’s inner monologue. Even though the world is "degrading into chaos" nothing really happens.
