Pretty good continuation of the last book. There’s a few tropes that get beaten to death with this book. Some of the situations seem forced with no contextual reason for the decisions made. Also, Henry tends to bug me because he’s not reacting or thinking like a trained soldier or a paramedic. Lastly, progress feels slow to start but that’s more due to the lack of the next book at this point. Other than those points I think that this is a very effective start to a potentially amazing series.
