Oh my! This starts on a sad turned scary note and gets really… upsetting that a parent would participate in the future that was planned for Ridley. Ridley is thrust into an awful situation but finds escape before the evil comes to fruition.
I love how growly Venom is when it comes to her. I’m conflicted about how I feel about Bull’s response to their connection when he first becomes aware of it. He was… calmer than expected. Not to say that he was calm.
I listened to an author’s copy of this story with Ada Sinclair as the storyteller.
