Borning.

First off this NOT an EMP book. or even a end of the world book. really there was nothing really about the EMP or troubles, or the havoc. the EMP struck, with no details. The power went out, a plain crashes… thats it… boring. NO excitement at all.
I could not bond with the main person at all. I found her to be whiney, weak and depressive from the very start. Not to mention Very judgmental of her family and best friend. . Her sister was the smart one and prepared for this, and the main characters just seemed so ungrateful. Also the main character decided to case the streets, to help the Community stop the kids from causing trouble. by herself! ( what? who does that after an EMP) but still NO action. none.
