The ending is – let’s go with not complete. The main questions really are not solved at all, which is seriously annoying especially because there isn’t another book in the series yet. If I had know the book was lacking true ending I would have skipped it until more of the series was released.

The writing style is pretty clean and doesn’t yank you out of the story.

Now on to my real issues with the book. Reading this as a woman I found how this book treats women and slavery very troublesome. The premise of the book is that these women become slaves and the Main Character is granted a power boost because he owns them, but the book doesn’t even gently touch on anything real in regards to slavery. If anything the MC is cast as a guardian and his only real struggle with his role as slave owner is whether or not he can have sex with his slaves (which he decides is ok). As lots of other reviewers have noted there is a lot of wish fulfillment.

So, I do recommend the book if you are looking for something light and fun and don’t mind a less than satisfying ending. But if you want more than fluff I’d suggest skipping this one.
