First, I will caution that the power cap for this series is low compared to other series. that is my personal preference, but I know for others that is a detriment.

I loved this trilogy. The story was straightforward as presented, but there were twists and machinations that kept the whole thing engaging. The focus of the MC on his position in society gives some nice texture, and the ultimate conclusion is very satisfying if a bit rushed. Some of the world-building is a little clunky, but forgivable. Travis Baldree gives a strong performance, as always.
