anti heroes, sluts, banes and questionable tactics!!! there’s an addiction, here, because I can’t stop reading/listening. again, I haven’t been this enthralled with a group of characters since the Legend of Drizzt.
I crave more of Jeff’s VO and Neven’s writing. this is some irreverent, incredibly creative, and insane shit. I’m not waiting on my credits, because I’m buying the next book outright.

the presentation of the “lawful good” alignment and how government officials/intelligence “communities” are actually the direct opposite of their claims hits the nail on the head.
brilliant analysis and social commentary! even though our heroes are complete bastards, the whole misanthropic approach to the story is a dark mirror in which the “good guys” don’t always win, and that the world is full of assholes.
