Even after two books, I’m utterly hooked on this series. In this book, Angel and Simeon chase after a serial killer who is hunting supernaturals and humans. The usual cast of characters is around: a remorseful Isaac, broken Daniel, charming Babtiste, adorable Eroch, and the unflappable Millie.
We learn more about the bond between Angel and Simeon, and that Isaac has a secret that’s been eating him alive. There is also Daniel’s farher to deal with, as well as a creepy doctor who’s obsessed with Angel.
The narration by Joel Leslie is wonderful. He does a great job with the various characters and their respective accents.
