Overall, this was a good book. The characters were well developed and the story line is very interesting. It seemed there were a few plot holes, and certain things happened pretty rapidly without enough explanation. The climax of the story came across a little too rushed and there was a lack of resolution. For instance, what about the gang coming from Knoxville and the Irish couple? I imagine these are questions that will be answered in the next installment.

The narration was very good. Kevin Pierce’s pacing and tone was right on. His characters were easy to distinguish and didn’t leave me at any time wondering who was talking. His Irish accent seemed to get better as the story progressed.

I received this audiobook version free in exchange for an honest review (which I’ve given) and I would definitely listen to the next book to see how the story continues.
