My 5 and 8 year old loves this book! This was the conclusion of the Curse of the Arctic Star, and they enjoyed guessing who the culprit was going to be. (I guessed correctly maybe halfway into the first book, but it’s a kid’s book, so I won’t be too proud of myself!)
What made me dislike this audible book was the narrator’s voice. For both of these books, she sounded like she had a cold. Her voice was nasally and it sounded like it was completely congested. I’m not sure if that’s how her voice always sounds, but it was seriously uncomfortable at times. I just wanted her to sniff, or blow her nose, or take some Sudafed or something. I will have to do a preview of some of the other books she narrates to see if it is a temporary thing. If not, I’m afraid I just can’t handle it. It was like that in both of these books though. So I’m not hopeful.
